About the Comic

One day, Tamas McCoy decided to set out and prove that anyone with a little bit of imagination could create a webcomic, even if they had no artistic ability whatsoever. After toying around with a few ideas, he remembered a full-body smiley he had made before that he would often show people online to see if they could figure it out. So, using the original Spanky ASCII smiley as a base, he created multiple other cast members, made a comic template, and voila! The Adventures of Spanky was born.

About the Author

Tamas McCoy is an 18-year-old actor/musician beginning his sophmore year at Highline Community College in Des Moines, Washington. He enjoys playing Starcraft, The Sims, any Sonic the Hedgehog game, and on occasion some first-person shooters. He is the author of the single-player campaign for Starcraft, "Life of a Marine", which can be found at GameProc. He's single, a Taurus, and prefers competing head-to-head in computer games over long walks on the beach.
